How We Use Your Data

We use your email for log in or sign-up purposes. Using email and password is more secure than just using a phone number of log in. 

We use the email address and phone number (which is optional) to allow your friends and family to add you as a contact. Once you add someone as a contact, you can share your reminders, refills, and appointments with them. You can also send messages to them individually or in small groups.

Your medication data is never shared. You can use your medicines information to create refills and reminders. Refills can only be made if you add medicines.

If you choose to add a copy of your prescription picture, that is only meant to be a reminder for you. We just store it so you can see it later, in case you need to.

If you are uncomfortable storing the actual name of the medication, or sharing it in reminders or refills, please feel free to use a pseudonym that you think is appropriate. 

Any data that you choose to share is your decision alone. We do not share any of your data with anyone, except to store it in the cloud. We use Google Cloud to store your information. The availability of our services depends on your Internet connection, as well as the availability of the back-end storage service provided by Google Cloud. Your data may be stored in servers that are physically located in the United States of America (USA). If you are using this app anywhere outside of the USA, please understand your local laws regarding storage of data and transmittal of your data across countries. Should you choose to continue to use the app, you give us permission to store your data in servers that may be located outside of your country.  

We collect and store your device ID to ensure you receive push notifications when you receive new messages.

We do not use your data for tracking purposes, meaning the data is not linked with Third-Party Data for advertising or advertising measurement purposes, or shared with a data broker.

We do not track your location or your device IP address, or any other sensitive information such as racial or ethnic data, sexual orientation, pregnancy or childbirth information, disability, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, political opinion, genetic information, or biometric data.

We do not access your contacts information that may be stored on your device, nor do we track your personal health information within the core Apple Health app.

All completed reminder, appointment, and refill information is deleted 15 days after they are marked as completed. All messages are deleted after 15 days. Inactive groups are deleted after 60-180 days.
